Harness the power of the sun

We’re all trying to make more of an effort to look after the planet and using solar energy to power our homes is becoming increasingly popular around the world.

Solar panels on your roof or in the garden give you the option to become more independent, as well as reducing your household’s bills.

Depending on the size of your house, you’ll probably need between 6 and 14 solar panels, and they should last up to 30 years.

Solar panels generate the most energy during the day, when the sun is shining on them. But this is historically the time during which homes use the least amount of electricity – when you and your family are out at work or school. So what happens to that surplus energy?

Store your solar energy and save money
One way you can use your excess solar energy is to sell it back to the National Grid, nice to think you can get paid rather than pay for your energy !

But perhaps you would prefer to retain all the energy you generate. Installing a solar battery means that instead of selling the electricity you generated back to the National Grid, you can conserve this energy to use when you need it – perhaps to power your home when the sun goes down or to charge your electric car.

A solar battery means a greater proportion of the electricity you use will be a low-carbon option to fossil fuels.

We can install your solar system

We offer a bespoke solar and battery storage installation service: we can install a new array of solar panels on your roof or in your garden, whichever is more appropriate for you. We can also supply and install the equipment you need to convert and store that solar energy, or sell it back to the grid.
